Envecon 2012: Applied Environmental Economics Conference

The UK Network of Environmental Economists (UKNEE) is pleased to announce envecon 2012: Applied Environmental Economics Conference will take place on Friday 9th March 2012, at The Royal Society in London.

UKNEE is managed by eftec (Economics for the Environment Consultancy) and this year is supported by Value Nature Network (VNN), The Centre for Social and Economic Research on the Global Environment (CSERGE) and eftec.

Each year UKNEE hosts envecon: Applied Environmental Economics Conference. Last year’s conference took place on Friday 4th March 2011. Presentations and some of the papers from the conference are now available on the UKNEE web site and can be downloaded from here.

This year’s conference will take place on Friday 9th March 2012, at The Royal Society in LondonConference which will  feature presentations by leading academics, policy makers and consultants from the UK and beyond.

The programme will include sessions on:

– Climate Change Policy;

– Economic Valuation;

– Ecosystem Management;

– Economic Policy for Marine and Fresh Waters;

– Economic Appraisal;

– Valuing Nature Network.

Conference fee is:

  • Standard: £200
  • Discont: £180 (for third and more delegates from the same organisation)
  • Student: £95

The fee includes delegate pack, buffet lunch, refreshments, evening reception and annual membership to UKNEE.
